Mariah Carey

Why see Mariah Carey?

I Don't Want A Lot For Christmas...

It's that time of year! On November 1, 1994, Mariah Carey changed the holidays as we know them by dropping the super festive anthem 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' from her iconic Merry Christmas album.

Immediately racing to the top of music charts the world over, the bop has since become as standard every December as twinkle lights and candy canes, selling over 16 million copies.

Join the undisputed Queen of Christmas (sorry, Mrs Claus) for a very special tour, Mariah Carey's Christmas Time!

Exactly what I expected from it. Fun with Nostalgia

Having been a Mariah fan for nearly 30 years, I went in knowing exactly which phrases she would lip synch in every song and which phrases she would actually sing. If you don't let the back and forth between lip synching and actually singing get to you, the show is a really good time. No, she can't move, nor walk properly (I actually think something's wrong with her legs when she walks around) and she avoids actually singing every single hard part of every song (she let's the lip synch track take over and it's obvious), BUT the song choices were awesome. Happy to hear Glitter songs, Anytime you Need a Friend was always one of my fav songs and I was thrilled to hear it. Lots of fun lights and background graphics. So, if you're a big fan, I say go for it. It wasn't worth the $200 price tag, but if you find decent priced tickets, go and have a good time.Even if her lip synching comes off as a gimic, she changed and influenced music around the world and used to have the worlds best voice. ... Great show in Pittsburgh

Thrilled to see Mariah and so was the crowd. They loved her last night. The band was perfect and Mariah was fun. Very well done. A African American girl in her mid 20's was leaving before the last song. She walked past me and said to her friend, one more. Mariah hit the first note and the girl knew it was " Hero". The girl put her hands on her face and became emotional. By the end of the song the girl was in full facial tears and her face was wet. She had broke down completely. Everybody loved Mariah last night. She was great.Hope to see her again soon, thank you - Marc ... Read more

Killed it

Some songs I thought I would never hear her sing live while other songs I looked forward to from the new cd. Hands down, Mariah killed it in Chicago tonight. ... Read more
