Why see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat?

Joseph The Iconic Kaleidoscopic Musical

The brand new production of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat is flying over from London's West End and making its American premiere! Filled to the brim with memorable musical theatre classics like Any Dream Will Do, Close Every Door and King Of My Heart. With Linzi Hateley and Jac Yarrow reprising their roles, you'll also get to see Toronto's youngest actors playing the roles of Joseph's brothers.

What is joseph and the technicolor dreamcoat about?

The biblical tale of Joseph from the book of Genesis gets a kaleidoscopic update, replete with a genre defying score that fuses elements of rock and roll, calypso, jazz and unadulterated pop. Born into a family of twelve brothers, Joseph rises quickly to become the favorite of his father's sons, causing much jealousy. When his father bestows an incredible multi-colour coat on Joseph, his brothers hatch a plan and sell him into slavery. Yet Joseph has a special gift that sees him undertake a journey of soul-searching proportions.
