Rush 2112

Following the disappointing sales of their previous record, Rush were urged by their label to come up with a more radio friendly album, without too many of those pesky "concept songs". Fortunately for us, Rush ignored them and gifted the world 2112 in 1976, a LP whose whole first half is taken up by the epic 2112 suite. One of the band's defining works, it stands as one of the greatest prog rock albums ever made.
