Why see Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat?

Perfect for the family to enjoy!

This local production of the hit Andrew Lloyd Webber biblical musical is set to light up the Lower Ossington stage this coming June! Follow the story of big dreamer Joseph with the gorgeously colored coat as his jealous brothers try to get rid of him. Originally conceived as a short rock opera in 1968, this musical has been performed the world over, and has even been transformed into an animated movie, Dreamworks's Joseph; Field Of Dreams that starred Ben Affleck!

What is it about?

A family friendly tale of redemption and forgiveness, Joseph is based on the Genesis story of the Israelite savior that rescues his family from perdition, despite their attempt to kill him, then selling him into slavery. However, Joseph's luck changes when he winds up the house slave of a prominent Egyptian noble, where his ability to interpret dreams brings him to the attention to the troubled Pharoah. This production features the best-loved tunes such as Those Canaan Days, Any Dream Will Do and Close Every Door.
