Van Etten and The Attachment Theory

With an upcoming album (set for release on February 7) produced and engineered by indie icons Bjrk and Bon Iver, Sharon Van Etten returns to the road in 2025 with her band The Attachment Theory. The New Jersey native will showcase her folk-infused rock melodies, including her new gothic and romantic lead single "Afterlife,".

Backed by percussionist Jorge Balbi, bassist Devra Hoff, and multi-instrumentalist Teeny Lieberson, this marks her first release since 2022's We've Been Going About This All Wrong, which appeared on nine-year-end best-of lists!

About Sharon Van Etten

Named by Rolling Stone as one of the "Big Future" artists and featured on tracks with the likes of Angel Olsen, Sharon Van Etten began making music at a young age. Determined and self-driven, Van Etten self-released several records throughout her formative years. She was eventually discovered by Language of Stone, leading to the release of her 'debut' studio album in 2009.

A woman of many talents, Van Etten hasn't limited herself to music. She's also appeared in various TV shows, most notably the hit Netflix series The OA.
