Tony nominee Ken Ludwig's critically acclaimed adaptation of Agatha Christie's career-defining novel rounds off the 2020/21 Mirvish Theatre Season. After wowing audiences at the Chichester Festival Theatre in England, the thrilling whodunnit makes its Canadian debut with featured stage design by Rob Jones and direction from Jonathan Church.
Perhaps Christie's most well-loved creation, Murder On The Orient Express follows the adventures of the dashing Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. Whilst traveling, he is suddenly called back to London and embarks on the Orient Express from Stamboul. During the first night of the journey, the train is delayed by a snowdrift that obstructs the tracks and tragedy strikes during its night-long stop. Poirot seemingly has his work cut out for him when the body of a passenger is found the next morning with no shortage of suspects on board...
