it took me a couple of scenes, but once I allowed myself to separate the show from the film, and became immersed in this recreation of a classic, I was hooked. The cast, songs, and choreography were all fantastic. More than anything, I had a lot of fun! This is exactly what I would have asked for in a Grease re-imagined.

Knowing my love for theatre, my Daughter bought us tickets to see this production, I think primarily to see one of her favorite actresses, Janel Parrish, perform live and in the flesh. My first inclination was- oh great, yet another American starlet attempting a role likely better suited for seasoned local theatre actor. A admittedly sensitive topic to us Canadian theatre 'snobs'. However after reluctantly attending the show last Friday night, mostly to spend time with our Daughter, my wife and I were completely taken away by how strong Ms. Parrish was in delivering the role of Sandy, and overall how enjoyable the entire production was. Grease is a difficult script to deliver, as in my opinion it is weak to deliver real substance and storyline, yet most of the performances in the show, most definitely including those delivered by the American actress, cleverly overcame those challenges and gave us in the audience a thoroughly enjoyable experience. In short, highly recommended.

This version of Grease is out of the park.! The show is tight, fast moving and well crafted. A must see.
