Music and magic collide in this classic story of loss and redemption

Why See The Secret Garden?

The Secret Garden Awaits

Experience of the magic of classic children's tale The Secret Garden, brought to life in concert at Toronto's Jeanne Lamon Hall stage with a thrilling score by composer Lucy Simon and book by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Marsha Normon.

Based on the beloved novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, the story follows 11-year old orphan Mary Lennox. After her parents die in India, she returns Yorkshire to live with her reclusive uncle and her sickly cousin, the previously spoiled and sour youngster discovers a secret walled garden that beckons with it's haunting melodies. It's a tale of redemption, renewal and kindness that still holds today.

Featuring an all-Canadian cast drawn from the theatre and opera worlds spanning Broadway, Mirvish, Canadian Opera Company, Stratford Festival, Shaw Festival, Charlottetown Festival, Dancap Productions, West End-London (UK), and much more.
