London's Olivier Award-winning improv musical revue has made the leap across the Pond to Toronto, following its hugely successful West End run. Winning the prestigious gong at last year's ceremony for Best Entertainment and Family Show, the show created by James Seabright, Kevin McCollum and Corey Ross sees a brand-new musical created in every performance, making each show completely different, one night to the next! And that is how one theatre company put on 80 different musicals during a 10-week West End run in 2015; bring your best suggestions for a night of audience participation!

October 12 - 29, 2017

A classic Canadian drama, the beloved play by David French and Factory Theatre returns to Toronto after a two-year absence, for a new engagement as part of the 2017/18 Mirvish season. Taking us back to 1926, we experience Newfoundland in the years after the First World War, when the young and ambitious are leaving in droves to find their fortunes in the big cities. Amidst this social exodus however, are two young people, two former lovers who reunite under a starry night to contemplate their past - and a possible future together.

Returning for a second run at the Mirvish this season, the 2013 Pulitzer Prize winner, and 2015 Tony Award nominated social drama Disgraced won critical accolades and record box office figures for its powerful stance on cultural collisions in a post-9/11 world. Ayad Akhtar's gripping play takes place over the course of one evening, centering on a Manhattan dinner party that descends into acrimony over suspicions of the host's supposed fundamentalist leanings. But is it true? Or has the heady combination of fear and alcohol have a lot to answer for?

Specially adapted for the stage by David Greig, with music and lyrics by Charlie Fink, and helmed by Max Webster, this magical new family show is just perfect for the holiday season (it's never too early to plan ahead!), and contains a special message about being kind to our environment. With stunning costumes, settings and toe-tapping tunes, make sure you meet the Lorax this Christmas!

Controversial and brilliant, this 'future history play' from Mike Bartlett has enjoyed international success since its premiere in London in 2014. Now David Mirvish presents a brand new production from Studio 180. Concerning Prince Charles' long-awaited accession to King after the death of his mother, Bartlett has applied a Shakespearean to the world's most reconisable family, stripping away the jewels and ermine and exposing the person within.
