INTENSE, SEXUAL, VIOLENT, DRAMATIC

I loved the portrayal of Blanche by Sonia Rodriguez - so fragile, tentative, gullibly hopeful, fluttery, flirty, friable, a nuanced performance. At parts I was left breathless by the rawness, and the poignancy and beauty. All dancers demonstrated a depth of character in the renderings. Brilliant choreography. Bought a ticket on a whim after reading about 3 principal dancers of the NBC in today's Globe and Mail- 50 minutes before curtain. So glad I did.
